3:17 p.m., Tuesday, 3416 S. Western Ave., theft. Subject reported that an unknown woman stole three car batteries last known address week and returned in a failed attempt to steal five more.

3:46 p.m., Tuesday, 301 S. Branson St., fraud/scam. Woman reported she was scammed our of $600 over the phone.

3:47 p.m., Tuesday, 2001 W. 11th St., theft. Woman reported that her rent money was stolen and suspects it was her brother-in-law.

4:38 p.m., Tuesday, 1648 E. Euclid Ave., dog problem. Subject reported her Shih Tzu was attacked and mauled by a mixed breed pit bull.

6:01 p.m., Tuesday, 1113 W. Fifth St., criminal mischief. Subject reported an unknown subject shot out the back window of her vehicle.

10:58 p.m., Tuesday, 1229 N. Baldwin Ave., theft, warrant. Subject was arrested for theft.
